Weekly overview 05.02.-09.02.2018

Datum objave: 12.02.2018

Ongoing volatility at stock exchanges, worldwide, affected BELEX market as well, even though not as such extend that we can see it as a single factor for weekly performances. Trade turnover was at EUR 1m, when speaking about equities, while bonds delivered EUR 1.2m in volume, which is very low volume as well. BELEX15 was down 1.34% w/w, while BELEXline lost 1.22% w/w.

The most traded name was Jedinstvo Sevojno (JESV), with RSD 37m in volume. The stock price remained flat at RSD 5,000 per share, while most of volume was executed on Thursday. We saw no specific corporate news from the company. The last thing we know is that huge agreement on TENT desulphation process has been signed earlier in autumn 2017, while execution should be started latter this year.

Fitofarmacija (FITO), plant protection applications, manufacturer, was also among more traded with RSD 24m in volume, while its stock price was up 1.1% w/w. The stock is among more traded over the last several weeks. The result reported for 1H period suggests that full year growth will be at a low single digit level.

NIS (NIIS) saw RSD 18m in volume, while its stock price was down 1.1% w/w. Crude oil price was down during the week behind, which is not favorable event for the company. In addition, Jadranski Naftovod (JANAF) announced on Monday, February 5, 2018, that its new contracts with NIS and the Hungarian MOL group were worth HRK 500 million (around EUR 67 million). At the beginning of the business year 2018, JANAF continues intensive business activities in the international market and contracts new jobs with foreign partners – Naftna Industrija Srbije, owned by Gazpromneft, and MOL Group – the press release says.

Energoprojekt (ENHL) and Belgrade Airport (AERO) were also among more traded names, with RSD 8.2m and RSD 5.3m in volume, respectively. Belgrade Airport remained stable at near RSD 1,800 per share, while Energoprojekt was down 7.8% w/w, dragging the BELEX15 index lower on a weekly basis.
