Belgrade Airport (AERO) and NIS (NIIS) were the most traded names, with RSD 60.9 and 51m in volume, respectively. Belgrade Airport was down light 0.615, while NIS remained flat w/w.
Energoprojekt (ENHL) was a top gainer, with 11.3% w/w jump. Its daughter company, Energoprojekt Niskogradnja Belgrade, as part of a consortium with Peru-based CCEQO, has signed the contract on the realization of the Irrigation System San Antonio, Huarango, Jaen, Peru project with the country's Ministry of Economy. The agreement is worth EUR 8.9m and the value of the works to be executed by Energoprojekt Niskogradnja is EUR 6.2m.
Meanwhile, according to the speculations form local press, the new privatization consultant of the largest state owned bank, Komercijalna, will be the French consulting firm Lazard, which has already adopted a number of important jobs in Serbia. The stock was up 1.9% w/w.
From the macro side, Serbia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a real 4.4% year-on-year in 2018, compared with an increase of 2.0% last year, the country's statistical office said on Friday, quoting preliminary estimates. Gross fixed capital formation marked growth of 9.1%, industrial production expanded 2.0%, and agricultural production rose 16.3% in 2018, the statistical office said in a statement.
