Komercijalna Banka (KMBN), saw 5.3% jump over the last five trading days, which helped BELEX15 to gain 0.52% on a weekly basis. Broad BELEXline added 0.78% w/w. This was the most traded name at the same time, with RSD 50m in volume. Local press wrote about at least five interested buyer of this bank, among which two of them are investment funds while others are form banking business.
Energoprojekt (ENHL) also helped BELEX15 gains, since it jumped solid 4.8% w/w. The company reported EUR 10.2m contract from Russia, with 9 months completion deadline. Report on 2018 numbers (non-consolidated) should be available today afternoon.
From the macro side, the NBS Executive Board voted to keep the key policy rate on hold, at 3.0%. In making the decision, the Executive Board was guided by the expected movement in inflation and its underlying factors, and the effects of past monetary policy easing. Inflation has been low and stable for the sixth year in a row. In January it stood at 2.1% y-o-y, the NBS report said.
