BELEX15 ended weekly session nearly flat, while BELEXline was down 1.27%. The most traded name was Alfa Plam, with RSD 109m in volume. This time, we saw several corporate announcements. At first place, it is about Metalac non-consolidated numbers, where we see similar performances as a year ago. The stock lost 1.53% w/w.
Jedinstvo reported 1Q19 non-consolidated numbers as well. The company’s sales were up 16% y/y, while, net profit was reduced but this is probably due to seasonal effects. The stock gained 1.9% w/w. Energoprojekt said it plans to contract EUR 273m of new jobs in 2019, while current backlog is at EUR 340m.
From the macro side, we had a statement from NBS on foreign direct investments in Serbia, which amounted to EUR 1.2 billion in the first four months of 2019, up by 14% from the same period in 2018.
