BELEX15 was down 0.81% on a weekly basis, while this was mainly due to 2.8% w/w drop at Komercijalna Banka. The bank was the most traded stock on a weekly basis, as well, with RSD 15.8m in trade volume. Deadline for submission of non-mandatory bids was extended to 6th September, as some interested sides wanted more time to consider the bank’s operations and business performances. We saw no other important corporate events from listed Serbian companies.
From the macro side, we had much more topics issues. The unemployment rate is down do 10.3%, according to the latest report from SORS, while the inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Serbia rose 31% on the year to 1.9 billion euro ($2.1 billion) in the first half of 2019, finance minister said.
